Our historic townhouse, tucked neatly away as a cosy city hideaway, has all the trappings required of a short business stay combined with an unflustered homely charm – setting it apart from the usual corporate hotel scene.

You’ll be seated in an open plan lounge amongst rustic unvarnished wood tables and chairs, the warm glow from a roaring log burner, plush sofa seating, and oodles of greenery.
We love simple, honest, homegrown and carefully created dishes that satisfy the soul. Our seasonal menus present the best of local producers on the Isle of Wight and in Hampshire and Dorset, including award winning cheese and quality cuts of meat. If you prefer to sample something from our drinks selection, we offer a variety of pale ales from Southampton’s best independent breweries, Unity Brewing, and an expertly curated wine selection from The Wine Barn and Hambledon Vineyard.
