A message from our Chairman & CEO:
We have spent much of the last year creating THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay and we think the result is stunning. But we are living in uncertain times, this Coronavirus situation puts us in unchartered territory and I have some disappointing news for you.
It is with great sadness that I write to announce we will be postponing the opening of the hotel. Whilst the other PIGs continue to trade as normal for now, we have decided that to open the beautiful THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay in these circumstances would not be viable.
In common with the rest of the country, we have very little idea what we are heading for in the coming weeks and months, so our best guess is that the opening date might be sometime later this summer.
This decision has been made with a heavy heart. Our projects and hotels are a labour of love run by a team that are like family. There are none more disappointed than myself and all at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay.
If your booking is in April, May or June, we would be delighted to help you find a new date or to transfer your booking to another PIG hotel. If your booking is after this date, we will keep in touch. You can contact the reservations team on 0345 225 9494 or email@example.com
THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay
One of Cornwall’s most historic houses dating back to the 15th century, THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay has far-reaching sea views, oodles of quirks and character and stacks of original features.
Just a short stroll from Harlyn beach and Constantine Bay beaches, our new PIG is only a 10-minute drive to the picturesque port of Padstow (where our good friends and Restaurateurs, Chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth call home).
It's also only a stone’s skim over the water from the buzzy towns of Rock and Polzeath, so there is no shortage of local fun come serious sunshine or Poldark-inspired rain!
Stay with us
THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay has unique and characterful bedrooms in the Main House with views out across the headland and Harlyn Bay or the gardens.
Stonehouse, a traditional stone courtyard building, has rooms with views out across the courtyard or gardens.
There are also 4 romantic Shepherds’ Huts tucked away around the gardens with views out across the fields – closer to nature but with all the comforts of a bedroom in the Main House.
