slow down, settle in, make sunday the main event
Sundays worth staying for

Sundays follow the rhythm of the seasons and, as we head into the warmer months, our Sunday roast menu is pressing pause for a little summer rest.
In our book, Sundays are the best day of the week – they’re not just about carving out a couple of hours for lunch! It’s the final full stop on the last 7 days and you deserve to slow down, unwind and enjoy every minute of it.
Soak up every well-earned drop of sunshine out on our restaurant terraces, with some serious summer showstoppers from our 25 mile menu. Think crunchy seasonal vegetables from the Kitchen Garden at their very best, fresh-off-the-boat seafood, and our chefs’ favourite summertime plates - best enjoyed with something cold in your glass and long, unhurried conversations.
Or better yet, gather for an easy, laid-back Sunday lunch of freshly baked pizzas and a perfectly chilled bottle of English wine at our Garden Ovens - no bookings needed, just swing on by!
At every PIG on a Sunday...
…you’ll find our much loved 25 mile menu, full of Kitchen Garden favourites and seasonally shifting Sunday dishes - just as relaxed, freshly picked and delicious as ever!

A long Sunday at THE PIG
Make a day of it, whichever PIG you visit.

Take a stroll around the Kitchen Garden, explore the grounds, or make yourself comfy at the bar for a pre-lunch tipple.

Whether it’s a plate by plate lunch or a proper 25 mile menu feast, service is relaxed and rooted in whatever’s tasting best that day.

Find a spot in the sunshine and put your feet up, sit back with a board game in our lounges (we’ve got plenty), pick up a pudding later, stretch your legs – it’s your Sunday, at ours.

The best Sundays are the ones that stretch into sleepovers. No designated drivers, nowhere to rush off to – just a bed so comfy you won’t want to leave and a proper PIG breakfast waiting for you on the table in the morning.
Sunday Lunch FAQs
Do all PIGs offer Sunday roasts?
Our dedicated Sunday roast menu is taking a little break over the warmer months, but will be back on the table later this year.
But don't worry! All PIGs are open on Sundays and will be dishing up our usual 25 mile menu for lunch and dinner.
When will Sunday roasts be back on the menu?
Our Sunday roast menu is taking a little summer holiday for now, but don’t worry - it will be back on the table later this year, with all the generous sharing roasts and proper trimmings you know and love!
In the meantime, Sundays across THE PIGs are still best spent settling in over dishes from our 25 mile menu or dropping by for smoky bites fresh from our Garden Ovens.
What’s on the menu on Sundays?
While our Sunday roast menu is taking a little break over the summer season, there’s still plenty to tuck into on Sundays at THE PIGs!
Settle in for a lazy lunch or leisurely evening feast from our 25 mile menu in the restaurant, tucking into a few of our favourite summertime dishes like our South Coast Fish Platter (to share); Monkfish, Trout, Scallops & Mussels served with Tomato & Tarragon Salsa, or our Gardener’s Summer Vegetable Risotto with Herb Mascarpone & Chilli Oil - see what tickles your fancy by peeking at the menus HERE.
Or, if you fancy something a little more laid-back, our Garden Ovens will be fired up daily, serving smoky wood-fired bites for easy drop-in dining all summer long.
Can I bring the family?
Of course! Sundays at THE PIGs are still all about relaxed, unfussy lunches with something for everyone. Whether you’re joining us in the restaurants for dishes from the 25 mile menu or something smoky from the Garden Ovens, the whole gang is very welcome.
Our dedicated Sunday roast menu for piglets and grown-ups alike will return later this year.
