an afternoon line-up of proper pig treats…
Buttered & Baked

It’s teatime… and then some.
Plentiful, homemade, and probably not what your granny had in mind (unless your granny made cheese scones this good). Warm, generous and straight from the kitchen, this is a menu made of buttery, savoury things to start with, followed by soft bakes and sweet bites.

Buttered & Baked FAQs
Which PIGs serve the Buttered & Baked Menu?
You can enjoy our Buttered & Baked Menu at all of our PIGs (excluding The Village Pub). Bookings are subject to availability, so we highly recommend booking in advance.
What’s on the menu?
Buttered & Baked is our take on the whole “afternoon tea” thing… with a PIG twist, of course! Take a peek at the homemade savoury treats and freshly baked sweet goodies we’ll be serving up.
If you fancy going the whole hog, you can also enjoy a glass (or two… or a few!) of some perfectly chilled fizz to wash it all down with, or a freshly muddled cocktail from the bar.
What time is it available?
Monday – Thursday, 1.30pm – 4.30pm, at THE PIG-in the New Forest.
Monday – Friday, 1.30pm – 4.30pm, at THE PIG-near Bath, THE PIG-at Combe, THE PIG-in the Cotswolds, THE PIG-on the beach, THE PIG-in the South Downs, and THE PIG-at Bridge Place.
Monday - Saturday, 1.30pm – 4.30pm, at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay.
How much?
Our Buttered & Baked Menu is £35 per person and includes all the homemade sweet and savoury goodies, with unlimited tea or coffee of your choice. Take a peek at the menu to see the full line-up.
How to book
You can book a table online to enjoy our Buttered & Baked Menu in the cosy lounges across THE PIGs. You can also speak to our Reservations team to book a table by calling 0345 225 9494.
Spaces are limited and bookings must be made 24 hours in advance, so we highly recommend booking your table as soon possible.
How many people does it serve?
This treaty teatime menu is made for sharing – so a maximum of four people can book at one time. Coming alone? Come on in! We’ll happily box up whatever you don’t eat so you can take it home with you.
Allergens and dietaries
Our Butter & Baked teatime menu is lovingly prepared as a set offering, and we’re sadly unable to adapt it for dietary requirements. We know that may not work for everyone, but hope you’ll understand it’s all part of keeping things simple, seasonal and just-baked!
Are dogs allowed?
Our Buttered & Baked Menu will be dished up in the cosy lounges across THE PIGs – and while your four-legged friends are always welcome around the gardens and grounds, the lounge spaces are dog-free areas.
Can kids join?
Piglets are more than welcome to join you to enjoy the Buttered & Baked Menu, but please note the treats and portion sizes have been created for adults in mind, and there isn’t a separate Children’s Menu
Can I buy this as gift?
Know someone who would love to head to our house for a proper PIG teatime? Treat them to a Buttered & Baked Gift Voucher for two people, available to buy from our PIG Market.
Redeemable for 12 months after purchase, to be enjoyed across THE PIGs. Bookings must be made 24 hours in advance.
What is the cancellation policy?
Should you need to cancel or amend your reservation, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your booking.
