Characterful PIG Rooms

Each PIG has a unique mix of bedrooms - because every PIG is different!

Snug Rooms

2

Cosy bedrooms in the main house with walk-in monsoon showers and countryside views.

Snug Twin Room

2

Tucked away in the eaves on the 2nd floor of the main house, with two full-sized built-in single beds and a walk-in monsoon shower - great fun for kids or for adventurous big kids.

Comfy Rooms

2

Slightly larger than the Snug rooms, featuring a walk-in monsoon shower, with either a countryside or sea view.

Comfy Luxe Rooms

2

Comfortable rooms featuring a walk-in monsoon shower and a freestanding bath, some with four poster beds and all sea-facing.

Generous Rooms

2

Slightly larger than the Comfy Luxe rooms, located in the main house and featuring a large monsoon shower, super-king sized beds and a free standing bath, with either a countryside or sea view.

Huts, Wagons & Cabins

All the best bits of a room in the house, but with nature right on your doorstep.

Harry's Hut & The Pig Hut

2

Our two shepherd huts are tucked away at the bottom of the garden and have the best views over the Bay in the house, and their own private terraces! Each room is made up of two separate huts; one hut is for the bedroom and bathroom, with a cosy king size bed, log burner and a free-standing bath. The other is your own little snug, with a drinks trolly, a sofa just for two and a sun deck that is made for watching the sunset over Old Harry Rocks. If you are one of the taller amongst us or like to travel with a lot of luggage we would suggest you book a room in the main house. Due to the size of the Huts, they can only accommodate two adults and are not suitable for children.

Wow-Wee Rooms

Looking for that something special? Unique PIG rooms with 'wow factor'.

The Bothy

2

The Bothy is one of the two dovecotes, tucked away in the kitchen garden. All on one floor and open plan in design, this room has a four poster bed and features a monsoon shower, free standing bath and views of the Kitchen Garden.

The Lookout

2

The two storey Lookout is the larger of the two dovecotes, with gorgeous views of the Kitchen Garden and stunning coastline. The bedroom is on the ground floor with a four poster bed and the bathroom is on the 1st floor with a free standing bath and monsoon shower. The Lookout has its own Beach Hut on South beach for you to use from 10am on the day of arrival to 6pm the evening before your departure.

    Getting here

Unspoilt views of Dorset’s coastline, our 23 bedroom mellow yellow house perfectly situated along Studland Bay.

    THE PIG-on the beach

Manor Road, Studland, Dorset, BH19 3AU
    Open in Google Maps

    By road

If you’re staying longer than a night or two, a car’s handy for exploring. Less than three hours from London, the Studland Bay peninsula is best reached via the car ferry* across the mouth of Poole harbour. You can also reach Studland without using the ferry by following the B3351 down towards Swanage. In the summer roads can become congested with holidaymakers so please allow delays in your journey (but it's worth the effort). There's a free on-site car park for hotel guests.

*Please note: The Sandbanks Ferry is closed until 20th November 2024.

    Nearest station

A train from central London takes around two hours. The closest station is Wareham, on South West Trains' London Waterloo–Weymouth line, about 20 minutes' drive from the hotel; it has connections to Poole, Southampton, Sussex, Wales and beyond.

    Taxi service

Martin from Swanage and Purbeck Taxi are a local taxi service and always on hand to get you where you need to be! Give them a call on 07969927424

Alternatively you can give Bill's Taxis a call on 07549776736 if you're needing a lift to our house.

    Nearest airport

If you're needing to be within close proximity to an airport, Bournemouth Airport is 27 miles away and it takes around an hour to get there by car.
