THE PIG at Wilderness Festival

This year THE PIG will be taking the tastes of the countryside to Wilderness Festival, Oxfordshire (3rd – 6th August).

The team will take over one of the festival’s feasting tents in the Wilderness garden, serving up the group’s renowned Piggy Bits and a three-course menu.

Keeping to its obsessive commitment to home grown and local produce, The Pig celebrates the seasons and uses only the best, freshest and most authentic foods and ingredients. It is all about the kitchen gardens, they are the beating heart of the operation…everything is driven by the gardener/forager and chef – they grow and find the food – the chef then creates the menu, true to the micro-seasons with the emphasis squarely on fresh, clean flavours. The menus will change by the minute, depending on what the forager supplies and what the kitchen garden team deems to be in perfect condition.

What cannot be grown in The Pig’s kitchen garden will be sourced within a 25-mile radius. The distinctive character and unique combination of ancient woodland and agricultural farmland, all within casting distance of the sea, means The Pig has access to some of the freshest local fish, amazing meats, award-winning cheeses and English wines in the country.

Tickets are £55 per person and available to buy on the Wilderness Festival site.
