I can’t find availability online

Our availability online is live and up to date so if you can’t find the date you are after, please send us a message so we can add you to the waiting list. However, don’t forget to check our other properties as we might have a room available elsewhere.

Can we bring our dog?

Unfortunately, we no longer permit dogs to stay in any of THE PIG hotels. However, they are welcome to join you on a stroll around the grounds but please do keep them out of the Kitchen Garden and away from our animals.

Do you welcome children?

Children are more than welcome at THE PIGs, both in the restaurant and to stay. At THE PIG and THE PIG-at Combe we have family specific rooms, lodges and cottages, while at THE PIG-near Bath and at THE PIG-on the Beach we have a couple of interconnecting rooms. In some of our larger rooms we can put in an extra bed or cot for small additional charge. Please remember to include children within your total number of guests so that we have space for them too.

Unless booking a family room or lodge, please do contact us to ensure you are allocated suitable accommodation.

Do your rates include breakfast?

Unless we are running a special deal and it is stated within the terms, all of our rates are on a room only basis so are inclusive of VAT only. Breakfast will be charged as taken, with a maximum of £17.50 per person per morning.

When can we check in and when is check out?

We guarantee check in from 3pm however, you are more than welcome to arrive at your leisure to drop off your luggage and relax in the house or explore the gardens.

Check out is by 11am, we kindly ask that you vacate your room by this time but please feel free to enjoy the surroundings all day.

We can’t guarantee an early check in or late check out but do let us know your plans and we will try our best on the day.

Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?

Each hotel has an accessible room. Please contact our reservations team who will be able to help you further.

Do you serve Afternoon Tea?

We don’t serve a traditional Afternoon Tea at any of THE PIG hotels but we do offer an afternoon menu of homemade piggy treats including sandwiches and cakes. You can pick and choose from this menu as you wish from 3-5pm daily with the exception of THE PIG-on the beach whose offering regularly changes.

Unfortunately we can’t take bookings for the afternoon menu as spaces are limited but feel free to drop in and we will do our best to find you a spot. If you are looking to visit THE PIG-on the beach then we would recommend calling in the morning to check timings and available space.

Do you serve food all day?

Breakfast - typically for residents only from 7-10am Monday-Friday and 7.30-10.30am on Saturday and Sunday

Lunch -  from 12-2.15pm (2:30pm at THE PIG-at Combe and THE PIG-near Bath) daily with booking being advised

Dinner - from 6.30-9.30pm daily with booking being essential

Afternoon Menu - served from 3-5pm daily in our lounge areas and on the terrace

Bar Snacks - we offer Piggy Bits from 3-10pm daily in our bar, lounges and outside with the exception of THE PIG-on the beach whose offering regularly changes.

Wood Oven – Available throughout the summer months, weather permitting and is available over during the same period as the afternoon menu. At THE PIG-at Combe we are lucky enough to offer the Wood Oven all year round in The Folly. Please check with THE PIG you are visiting for daily availability.

Can we hold our party with you?

Our hotels are a great place to hold a party. We have private dining spaces, unique to each location, typically suitable for groups of 12 or more.

For anything bigger, whether it is a wedding or any other event, we do offer an exclusive use package from £35,000 from Monday-Thursday between October-November and January-March subject to availability.

What is the largest table in your restaurant?

We can accommodate up to 8 guests on a single table. Unfortunately, due to the unique layout and design of our restaurants, we can’t push tables together or have larger groups sat on separate tables at a similar time. So that we can make sure you are looked after you properly, please contact our events teams directly to see whether we might be able to provide a suitable alternative for you. Please remember to include children within your total number of guests so that we have space for them too.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

We offer a range of monetary vouchers in £25, £50, £100 and £250 denominations as well as a lunch or dinner voucher. They all can be purchased here.
