Tucked away beyond the Kitchen Garden, just behind the fruit tree orchard, you’ll find our new two-bedroom hideaway; The Orchard Stable. Perfect for families and gathering friends, the two bedrooms connect to a cosy lounge with a large log burner. The master bedroom has a four-poster bed and freestanding roll-top bath, while the second bedroom has two seriously comfy twin beds. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite with walk-in monsoon showers.

Beyond the veg beds, through the damson tree orchard and past quietly buzzing beehives, you’ll find The Nuttery Stable. This peaceful one-bedroom hidden-gem overlooks our newly planted nuttery and has its own snuggly lounge with a warming log burner. The bedroom has a super-comfy four poster bed, a freestanding roll-top bath, a large walk-in monsoon shower in the ensuite, and a separate dressing room – bags of space to relax and make yourself at home!

Afternoon: We don't serve a traditional afternoon tea, however we do offer an afternoon menu of homemade piggy treats and sweet treats. Our Afternoon menu is served from 3pm-5pm in our lounge areas and on our outside terrace.
Wood Ovens: Our Wood Oven is currently open serving food and drinks, from 12pm-6pm, Monday-Sunday. As always, seating will be on a first come first served basis.
Lunch bookings at THE PIG-near Bath are advised, however, Dinner bookings are essential! Please note we do not take bookings for the Wood Oven or Afternoon Menu.

Private PartiesA real get-away location perfectly situated between Bath and Bristol, THE PIG-near Bath is a great place for a get together! We have a mix of rooms to choose from depending on who is it you're getting together.
The largest of our dining rooms, The Old Dining Room, seats up to 20 of your nearest and dearest around a rustic dining table, our garden inspired spot, The Kitchen Garden Table seats between 8-12 people and our characterful and cosy Billiard Room, seats up to 12-16 and is perfect for long leisurely suppers or meetings. Checking in and outYou can check in from 3pm at THE PIG-near Bath, however, you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier to drop off your luggage and explore the gardens.
Check out is by 11am. We ask that you leave your room by this time, but please enjoy the surroundings all day. We can’t guarantee an early check-in or late check-out, but stick around and let us know your plans and we will try our best on the day.
AccessibilityAt THE PIG-near Bath we have a small lip access to the hotel, through either front door or through the private dining space. There are small ramps in place for wheelchairs, with access to ground floor rooms and the garden of the hotel. Electric Vehicle ChargingWe currently have two 7KW Pod Point electrical charging points for vehicles at THE PIG-near Bath if you require charging during your visit. You will need to use the POD Point App to access the charger, and will be charged 75p per kWh of charge; overnight charging is required for full charge. Charging will require use of the Pod Point app and a registered account - this can be found at https://pod-point.com/products/driver/app. These POD charging points are fully compatible with all electric cars but please note you must bring your own charging lead. Once your car is fully charged we ask you move it to a regular parking space.

THE PIG-near Bath
By road
Although not necessary, a vehicle can be handy to explore the rolling Mendip Hills and Somerset countryside! THE PIG-near Bath is a short drive from the A36 and the M4, very close to the A37 being on the A368; so driving from London should take just over two hours.
Nearest station
Bath Spa Train Station is only a 20-minute drive from ours and the city of Bath is fairly well connected with links to various destinations across the country. First Great Western runs hourly services between Bath and London Paddington and the journey only takes around an hour and a half.
Taxi service
Veezu in Bristol and Bath (01179 25 26 26) and Keynsham Cars more local to us (0117 986 8444) are taxi services that are always on hand to get you where you need to be! Give them a call if you're needing a lift to our house.
