to the quirky village of Bridge

Explore the ‘Wine Garden of England’
Within close proximity to the buzzy and arty towns of Whitsable, Margate, Deal and Sandwich, THE PIG-at Bridge Place is the perfect rural hideaway with plenty to explore...right on your doorstop!
Whether you mooch around our Kitchen Gardens, potter around Canterbury's historical city centre or stroll through the coastal towns past their colourful cottages, our Bridge PIG is perfectly situated within easy reach of Kent's top hot spots.

So much to see
THE PIG-at Bridge Place sits in the Kent countryside, just outside Canterbury. A short drive takes you to historic city streets, the cathedral and lively markets, while the surrounding countryside is dotted with some of England’s best vineyards.
From coastlines to castles, there’s plenty nearby to explore before heading back to the house for a glass by the fire.

The heart of wine country
Kent is wine country, and THE PIG-at Bridge Place is right in the middle of it. Dozens of award-winning vineyards are just minutes away, producing crisp English whites and sparkling wines that rival the best in the world.
Many welcome visitors for tours and tastings, making it easy to spend a day among the vines before heading back to the house for dinner and another glass.

Fancy a game?
Just a short stroll from our front door (0.4 miles, to be precise), Bridge Tennis Club is now open to our guests for a match or two.
We’ve got a couple of rackets and some balls, so no need to come fully kitted out. To book a court, just have a chat with the team at Reception and they’ll sort you out with all the details.
