Our musical honeypot of a house was one of Kent’s foremost rock & roll club venues in the 1960s, in its glory days it played host to Led Zeppelin, The Kinks and many more! If you're not local but really fancy parting with us, why not turn your ticket into a little getaway and book a room for the night? Wander from the party to a comfy bed, with no need for taxis or designated drivers. Just you, a bed so comfy you won't want to leave, and maybe a cheeky nightcap.
Garden Party FAQs
Please have your booking confirmation to hand when you arrive at the Garden Party.
There’ll be a guestlist on arrival just give your name, and pick up your re-usable cup for the day (yours to use and take home).
Payment’s taken in full at the time of booking. Just a gentle heads-up: once you’ve booked, this event is non-refundable, non-transferable, and can’t be cancelled. Please make sure you’re all set before snapping up your spot!
Partygoers will be able to buy tokens on site for the drinks bar, BBQ and Potting Shed treatments. Tokens are only refundable during the event. Please ensure you return your tokens before the event ends, as we will be unable to offer refunds afterwards.
You’ll be able to make payments as usual in The Garden Oven for any other food that takes your fancy.
Car parking passes are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment. For car parking, please drive into the main hotel entrance, where a member of our team will be ready to greet you and direct you to the designated Garden Party parking area, located in the field to the right of the hotel. When leaving, exit the field onto Brewery Lane, which will lead you into the village of Bridge. Car parking passes are £5.
Accessible parking is available and can be offered on request – simply contact reservations@thepighotel.com.
We strongly advise no parking on the roadside – cars will be reported and removed by the police.
We kindly ask not to bring any of your own food and drink for the day – we will have a wide range of freshly cooked (and seriously tasty!) festival food on offer, all to be washed down with your favourite cold one from our numerous bars! Soft drinks and water will be available from our Belu water station.
Included in your ticket price is a re-usable cup for the day. You’re welcome to swap it for a clean one at any time.
All littluns aged 5-17 will need a Children’s ticket to enter the garden party. Under 5's go free. While there won’t be specific children’s activities running, there will be plenty of food, drinks and live music (and plenty of space across our gardens and grounds to run wild in!)
Under 18s will need to come to the garden party with an adult (18+). If you’re lucky enough to look under the age of 25, we may ask you to show some ID with your ticket on arrival.
We love your four-legged friends, but our Smoked & Uncut Garden Party is for adults and children only.
We will have a few handfuls of straw bales around the garden party, but please feel free to bring rugs, blankets or pop up chairs to make yourselves comfortable.
As we all know, British weather likes to keep us on our toes, so we recommend coming prepared for all eventualities to make sure you can enjoy the Garden Party, rain or shine!
We have accessible facilities across the Smoked & Uncut Garden Party – parking closer to the main gate will be available on the day, but please contact the team at reservations@thepighotel.com ahead of the party. We will happily allocate your parking and can answer any questions you may have.
Due to being a listed building there is currently no wheelchair access to the main house. There is an assisted bathroom, which is accessible through the courtyard, in the restaurant, on the left-hand side.
Please remember the party is an outdoor event, so the grass may be slippery in wet weather.
On the day of the Garden Party, access to the hotel will be reserved for residents and dining guests only. Thank you for your understanding.
