Christmas Cracker Workshop and Festive Supper at THE PIG-in the South Downs

Get into the festive spirit with a little Christmas crafting and a glass of mulled wine in the Garden Room at THE PIG-in the South Downs.
We’ll be joined by our friends at The Crafty Hen, who’ll get you making your very own Christmas crackers from a lovely mix of seasonal bits and bobs - think dried foliage, festive sprigs, orange slices, cinnamon sticks and wooden decorations. Add a splash of colour with paint pens and twine, then finish them off with a cracker snap, paper hat and a little chocolate for good measure.
You’ll make around six crackers to take home and pop on your Christmas table. Fancy adding your own little surprise inside? Bring along a few goodies too - just make sure they’re small enough to fit.

Once the crackers are made and the crafting is done, it’s time to head through to the restaurant for a three-course festive supper, sitting together with the friends or family you booked with.
There’ll be a chilled glass of English fizz to enjoy while you get stuck in, before settling down for a festive feast made with seasonal ingredients and plenty of PIG-style comfort.

The Crafty Hen are our friends in the world of crafty experiences, bringing people together to have a go, get creative and make something lovely to take home.
For this workshop, they’ll guide you through making your own set of eco-friendly Christmas crackers, sharing plenty of tips and tricks along the way. You’ll be able to get stuck into a lovely mix of seasonal materials, from dried foliage and festive sprigs to orange slices, cinnamon sticks and wooden decorations, before adding your own finishing touches with colourful twine and paint pens.
