Garden Wagons
Closer to nature but with all the comforts of a bedroom in the Main House – these bespoke romantic wagons have been designed using traditional craft methods but then kitted out with all the mod-cons! Our 4 Garden Wagons are tucked away in the walled Kitchen Garden with views out across the gardens and fields. Full of rustic reclaimed wood and texture, cosy furnishings and each with its own log burner and sofa to snuggle up on, these Wagons have king-sized beds and en suite bathrooms with monsoon showers, freestanding baths and bags of space for two. They also have their own private terraces and private outdoor showers for alfresco showering. These Wagons are made for adventurous escapes for two and being just a short stroll from the house means you can easily nip between the house and your secluded garden retreat (we provide umbrellas on the soggier days). There is loads of storage, but we would suggest you pack soft as hard cases will be a squeeze.

Nestled in the heart of nature, our two brand-new Stream Wagons are tucked away in their own secluded spot in the water meadow just a short walk from the main house. Stroll past the bustle of the restaurant and the Kitchen Garden and out along the boardwalk, guiding you through sleepy willow trees and past our Hop Pickers’ Huts – and you will find our Stream Wagons tucked away in front of a quietly flowing stream. These perfectly private, stylish and spacious Stream Wagons are designed using reclaimed timber and each have a double bed, an en-suite bathroom and a wood burning stove inside – as well as your own peaceful outdoor terrace. The real showstopper? Choose between your own double ended baths and monsoon showers – indoors and outdoors! So sink down into the tub inside the cosy warmth of the wagon, or wake up outside with a refreshing power shower… We honestly don’t believe there are huts like these anywhere in the world.

These very large bedrooms have plenty of space for you to make yourself at home. The biggest bedrooms in the main house of THE PIG-in the Cotswolds. These very special rooms are nestled in the main house, and each have views over Rosemary Verey’s original arts and crafts style gardens. Each one has its own special character – from double sinks in the large bathrooms and steps leading into the bedrooms, to high ceilings and exposed original beams. All of them have really comfortable super-king beds, separate cosy seating areas and very spacious bathrooms with freestanding baths and large monsoon showers.

With its own private outdoor entrance tucked away at the back of the house beside the original ornamental gardens, Rosemary’s Hideaway is the perfect, spacious bedroom for gathering friends and family. This show-stopper room has a separate lounge with comfy areas to relax in and a separate, private dining area with a sunroof to gather your favourite people together. This hideaway has its own secluded outdoor space to relax in, and a separate bedroom with a very comfortable super-king bed.

Tucked away from the main house through the original Potager Garden and just a stone’s throw from our neighbouring farm, this very comfortable room has its own separate lounge area with a squishy sofa that is just perfect for cosying up after a long day of exploring. The Potting Shed has its own private terrace to relax on, and a separate bedroom with a very comfortable big bed. It’s the perfect escape for two.
