a new season is calling
THE PIG-at Bridge Place
spring is when our kent hideaway really comes into its own

Spring at THE PIG-at Bridge Place
The gardens are stretching awake, the orchards and vineyards start to blossom, the Kent countryside becomes vibrant with flora and fauna again, and there’s a renewed excuse to linger outside in those first warm days with a glass in hand.
From fresh, garden‑led feasting dishes in our glass restaurant to outdoor, wood-fired dining at the Garden Oven, and local bluebell walks, live music and long, lazy afternoons that turn into evenings – this is springtime, the PIG way.

Outdoor eats at the Garden Oven
Our Garden Oven will be firing back up from 1st April 2026!
Soak up every last drop of al fresco-fuelled afternoons this spring and enjoy wood-fired pizzas with good company at our Garden Oven, tucked just outside the hustle and bustle of the main house.
Simply rock up and grab a table to join us for an afternoon bite or a quick drink – there’s no better place to down tools and settle in for some garden-inspired grazing and a cold one!

Our Chef’s Picks set lunch menu
Savour a little new season goodness from the Kitchen Garden; our Spring Chef’s Picks is our seasonal, set lunch menu created for lingering over with a glass in hand and good company around the table, for long midweek lunches and early suppers… just the thing to welcome in the start of the sunnier months!
Fresh, unfussy, proper comforting dishes with lashings of colour celebrating what’s just been pulled, picked or foraged from our veg beds and on our doorstep that morning.
Two courses for £28.50
Three courses for £32.50

Events & Live Music
This season at THE PIG-at Bridge Place is about good food, great company and the occasional soundtrack.
We'll be hosting live music evenings, relaxed garden gatherings and seasonal events that celebrate what’s coming out of the ground right now.

Step Outside: Spring Walks & Garden Wanders
Just steps from our doorstep you’ll find ancient Kent woodland, gentle riverside rambles, and blooming vineyards sprawling for acres that show the Garden of England at its freshest!
Follow footpaths along the River Nailbourne, wander through sleepy villages, or head out across open farmland with nothing but birdsong and the occasional church spire on the horizon. Our team has rounded up some of their favourite local routes, perfect for working up an appetite before lunch from the Garden Ovens or stretching things out after a leisurely breakfast.

Golden hour: Buttered & Baked
After a long, countryside ramble, there’s only one sensible next step. Settle in for Buttered & Baked - generous, comforting and proudly un‑fussy, ‘perfect-for-3pm’ kind of moreish treats.
Think warm, savoury, cheesy, buttery bites and plentiful homebaked sweet things to finish. It’s the perfect pairing for a mid-week spring wander, whether you’re staying the night or just dropping in.

Unwind in the Potting Sheds
Our treatment rooms are some of our favourite spots to hide out, tucked away in the peace and quiet of the Kitchen Garden. Sinking into a massage, facial or scrub while the rest of the world does its thing feels like a really good kind of treat.
It’s time carved out just for you.
