Head to the Roundhouse
Gather around one big table in our Roundhouse and settle in for a properly Piggy evening of English wine. Whether you’re new to wine or already know your way around a bottle, we’ll start with the basics, from how to smell and taste your wine to holding your wine glass. Diving into stories, production and characteristics behind each one. And, of course, no good Piggy evening is complete without a few moreish Piggy Bits to nibble on.

Please note this event is for over 18s only.
Whether you’re new to wine tasting or already know your favourite grape, this evening is for everyone. No need to be an expert, just come along, try something new and enjoy a good glass of wine.
If you have any dietary requirements, just let us know ahead of time and we’ll make sure you’re well looked after.
We love a four-legged friend as much as the next person, but as this event takes place inside the hotel, we kindly ask that they stay at home for this one. Guide dogs are, of course, always welcome.

Connar joined the PIG in 2023 as Head Sommelier. He was awarded FWS in 2022 by the Wine Scholar Guild. Connar’s philosophy is that the only thing that truly pairs with wine is decent conversation. Can be distracted by gifting various denominations of aged Comté.
