Our Garden Oven

If you fancy a spot to soak up every last drop of al-fresco afternoons and is a little more laid-back, our Garden Oven at THE PIG will be fired up all summer long!
No bookings needed to join us, simply drop on by for some smoky wood-fired bites or tipples in the sunshine.

Barbecue season is here!
This summer, our friends at Big Green Egg are helping us bring the very best flavours of BBQ season alongside our outdoor garden oven at THE PIG.
Think freshly grilled Kitchen Garden pickings, slow-cooked meats and coastal catches straight off the flame... all best washed down with something chilled in hand as those sunny afternoons drift into hazy summer evenings!

Soak up every last drop of al fresco-fuelled afternoons and enjoy wood-fired pizzas with fantastic company at our Garden Oven, tucked just outside the hustle and bustle of the main house.
Simply rock up and grab a table to join us for an afternoon bite or a quick drink to start your weekend here - there’s no better place to down tools and settle in for some serious PIG outdoor feasting!
The Garden Oven is now open 12pm - 5pm, every day, so swing on by and soak up the sunshine all week long!
Live Music every Friday, 6pm - 8pm, from 19th June
On Fridays throughout the summer, we'll be closing the Garden Oven at 5.30pm for our live local music nights in the New Forest. But don't worry! We'll be dishing up some smoky BBQ bites instead from 6pm to 8pm… Find out more and book your tickets here.
Think smoky, wood-fired pizzas piled high with our favourite seasonal toppings, straight from the Garden Oven. All washed down with a few chilled tipples; we'll have plenty of English fizz and rosé on hand to keep things flowing!
No need to book! Just drop in for some relaxed sunshine dining and a glass of something chilled.
As always seating will be on a first-come first-served basis, and weather dependent. If you are unsure on the day and the weather is on the wetter side, please call us on 01590 622354 to check we are open. Please note we will not be able to accommodate Wood Oven dining inside.

Join us for an evening of live music on the lawn of THE PIG in the New Forest, with plenty of smoky, summer BBQ goodies and a large glass of something perfectly chilled. Your £10 ticket includes one of two freshly grilled BBQ treats to enjoy with live, acoustic beats and the early evening sunshine!

Explore the New Forest
We’ve got plenty of walks right on our doorstep. Each of our hotels has a handful of tried-and-tested routes, perfect for getting out and exploring the surrounding countryside.
Wander through rolling fields, woodland paths and nearby villages, soaking up a little fresh air along the way. Then head back to ours for a well-earned bite to eat, a drink on the terrace, or something fresh from the Garden Oven, the perfect way to round off a good walk.
