Pull on your boots and head for the coast. Just moments from the house, Harlyn Bay's golden sands and the rugged North Cornwall coastline are yours to explore, with sweeping sea views and plenty of salty air along the way. Take your time wandering the shoreline, discovering hidden coves and following the South West Coast Path, this is the sort of place that makes it easy to lose track of time.
Or venture a little further to nearby Padstow or Constantine Bay, both within easy reach and perfect for an unhurried wander.

A cocktail in the bar before dinner, mixed with ingredients inspired by the Kitchen Garden and the Cornish coast. The wine list is packed with bottles from across England and beyond, perfect for discovering something new or settling in with an old favourite.
Dinner follows as the evening draws in. The 25 Mile Menu is shaped by ingredients from the Kitchen Garden, local producers and the surrounding coastline, making every plate a reflection of the season and this corner of Cornwall. Take your time, settle in for the evening and let the day wind down naturally.
A nightcap by the fire. Bed.
The Next Morning…
Wake up slowly, again. The grazing table is ready when you are, and if you're feeling curious, join the daily Kitchen Garden tour to see what's growing, what's being picked and what might be appearing on the menu later that day. The gardens, polytunnels and greenhouse are at the heart of everything here.
Then either check out at your own pace or, if you've booked an extra night, head down to Harlyn Bay, breathe in some more salty sea air and do the whole thing again.

Comfy With Terrace
These large, really comfortable bedrooms are located in the Stonehouse (quite literally a stone’s throw away from the main house), each with a cosy 6ft super king-sized bed, a large monsoon shower in the separate bathroom and its own private outdoor terrace looking out into the courtyard.

Garden Wagons
Packed with all the comforts of a bedroom in the main house, these bespoke romantic wagons are tucked away around the veg patches with views out across the gardens and fields. Full of rustic reclaimed wood and texture, cosy furnishings and each with its own log burner and sofa to snuggle up on, these Wagons have king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms with monsoon showers, freestanding baths and bags of space for two. They also have their own private terraces and private outdoor showers for alfresco showering.

This gorgeous large bedroom is nestled in the main house, with views out over the garden to the headland, Harlyn Bay and the North Cornwall coastline (it’s how it got its name, The Lookout!). This very comfortable room has a four-poster bed, large monsoon shower and a freestanding roll top bath in the bathroom window to make sure you can soak up the very best of the views.

Big Comfy Luxe
Each of our Big Comfy Luxe bedrooms have a large, four-poster bed to sink into, a very big monsoon shower in the large separate bathroom as well as a freestanding roll top bath. Tucked away in the main house and in the Stonehouse (literally a stone’s throw away!), these lovely big rooms have their own separate cosy seating areas and views out to the grounds or the orchard.
