High up in the West Sussex hills, four miles from the medieval market town of Arundel, THE PIG-in the South Downs has a view that tends to make up your mind for you. Four thousand vines growing outside the greenhouse restaurant, the South Downs National Park rolling out in every direction and the same chalk under your feet as Champagne - with an English wine list that's starting to make France a little nervous.

Competition closes on 30 September 2026. Entries received after this date will not be entered into the draw.
The winner will be chosen at random and contacted shortly after the competition closes. If the winner does not respond within 7 days, another winner may be selected.
The prize consists of one overnight stay for two at THE PIG-in the South Downs, including dinner in the restaurant and breakfast the following morning, subject to availability.
The prize must be booked in advance through THE PIG Reservations team.
Any additional food, drinks, treatments or extras not included in the prize package will be charged separately.
Transport to and from THE PIG-in the South Downs is not included.
The prize is subject to availability and excludes selected dates, including Christmas, New Year and other blackout dates as determined by THE PIG.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative and is non-transferable.
Only one prize is redeemable per person.
Multiple entries will not increase the chances of winning.
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
The prize is for the named winner and one guest only and cannot be transferred to another person.
Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Employees of THE PIG Hotels, Home Grown Hotels, and anyone professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
