Chef Meets Sommelier Suppers at THE PIG-near Bath
Kitchen Garden & The Mendips Suppers
Chef Meets Sommelier Suppers
New for autumn, THE PIG-near Bath will be hosting two pop-up family-style feasts celebrating the Mendips and our 25-mile menu local suppliers. With more than 8,500 farmers and food producers based in our county of Somerset (more than any other county in the UK) we are lucky enough to work with some of the best!
The evening will be Hosted by Chef Director James Golding, Head Sommelier Ed Osborne, with local vineyards paring perfectly to each course throughout.
Serving up 'family feast style' you will be seated around one big table with the other guests, so you tuck in together! The wine will be flowing, so if you plan to pull straws for designated driver, we suggest you book a taxi instead!
Garden to Plate Supper - Wednesday 18th September
The Kitchen Garden is the beating heart of THE PIGs. Join us for an evening of tucking into our Garden to Plate philosophy, where we celebrate the seasons and dish up only what the Kitchen Gardener deems in perfect condition.
Starting off with Piggy Bits, fizz and a tour of our walled Kitchen Garden, you will then be taken through a 3 course seasonal garden supper with Chef Director James Golding, alongside Aldwick Vineyard perfectly pairing each course and exploring why it is such an exciting time to be making English wine.
Game Supper - Thursday 21st November
