THE PIG are pleased to announce that we have once again been nominated for the prestigious Sustainable Restaurant Awards.
The SRA awards are taking place on Monday 23rd February and are here to highlight how important it is to source good quality foods, currently in season and from sustainable sources. The aim of the SRA Awards is to showcase some of the most forward thinking, state-of-the-art food and hospitality related businesses in the UK, THE PIG, Brokenhurst couldn’t be more thrilled to be considered one of these.

Our Chef’s work hard at our restaurant and hotel in the New Forest to make sure that the menu uses only the ingredients that can be sourced from our kitchen garden, our on-site smokehouse or sourced from the surrounding forest or local area. Within 25 miles to be precise. Even our fires are fuelled by local diseased trees!
To be recognised by the SRA is an honour, and we hope that President Raymond Blanc will once again be presenting us with one of the awards.

Not only is THE PIG in the New Forest excited to be award nominees, but THE PIG-on the beach also has a reason to celebrate, as they have been shortlisted for ‘Best Hotel’ in the GQ Food and Drink awards.
The restaurant with rooms in Studland Bay prides itself on its menu and rooms that mix luxury with country comfort to provide a home away from home. The categories are filled with excellent eateries and hotels. Now it is down to the panel of expert judges to decide who will win on the night. The ceremony will take place in April and the winner will be announced in the June issue of GQ.
