This year to celebrate 25 years of Hampshire Fare, Hamsphire Food Festival presents it's "25 Plates" campaign.
Twenty-five chefs have created dishes from some of the very best local produce to celebrate Hampshire Fare’s 25th anniversary. Fresh trout, handmade charcuterie, award-winning cheese, local meats, salads and vegetables will take centre stage in a selection of mouth-watering dishes.
THE PIG, Brockenhurst is taking part with a charcuterie board produced as a a partnership of our pickled walled garden produce along with meat fom our home reared pigs cured by local producer Alan Bartlett at A Pinch of Salt curing company in the New Forest. The dish (coppa, lomo, bresaola, salami, chorizo and Karma ham) is garnished with our home grown salad leaves and flowers from our walled kitchen garden. It truly is a garden-to-plate dish.
