April 7, 2017

THE PIG-at Combe won Exeter Living Awards' Leisure & Tourism award this week (6th April 2017).

Organised by MediaClash, the Exeter Living Awards celebrate the best companies in the county. Chosen by an independent judging panel, winning one of its coveted awards is a powerful accolade.

The Leisure & Tourism award, sponsored by Warwick Event Services, was all about fun! Venues, events, accommodations, activities and attractions entered the category, with THE PIG-at Combe beating off stiff competition and taking the crown.

Finalists for the award were:

  • THE PIG-at Combe (winner)
  • Canonteign Falls
  • Deer Park Country Hotel
  • East Devon District Council Countryside Team
  • Exeter Cookery School
  • Exeter Golf and Country Club
  • Exeter Street Food
  • Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery
  • Southgate Hotel

Commenting on THE PIG-at Combe, the judging panel said: “What a great opening year! An inspiring combination of incredible décor and beautiful grounds backed by attentive service, this place definitely has the wow factor.”

The win comes just as THE PIG-at Combe launches its brand-new Curlditch Cottages; three thatched cottages tucked away down their own private drive.
