Move over Cornwall... it's all about Somerset
From festivals to art to eating, drinking and sleeping; Somerset is the West Country destination that is hitting the headlines.
Home to unquestionably the biggest festival in the UK (if not Europe) Glastonbury may have been and gone but there are plenty of other festivals taking place through Somerset. Check out Farmfest in Bruton (1-2 August 2014), Priddy Folk Festival (11-13 July) ‘the friendliest folk festival in England’ and of course there's Smoked & Uncut Fest taking place at our very own THE PIG-near Bath on 14th September.
And if you're visiting THE PIG-near Bath why not check out the Portishead Art Trail with more than 20 contemporary visual artists contributing a range of works (including Arc of Angels, by Rick Kirby) that celebrate different facets of the town’s history.
