M.Chapoutier and THE PIG launch THE PIG Hut wines

Rhône winemaker Michel Chapoutier and hotelier Robin Hutson are pleased to announce a unique collaboration between THE PIG Hotels and M. Chapoutier; THE PIG Hut wines. Three wines, a white, red and rosé, have been specially blended and labelled for all properties in THE PIG Hotel group; THE PIG, Brockenhurst, THE PIG-near Bath, THE PIG-in the wall and THE PIG-on the beach.

Shared values, a sense of fun and the spirit of generosity are witnessed in every glass of these wines. They show a freshness and vitality to accompany the daily-picked kitchen garden produce served at each of THE PIG properties. As one of the Rhône Valley’s most renowned biodynamic winemakers, Michel Chapoutier sees THE PIG Hotels as the perfect sites to serve these wines, which are inspired the warmth of the soil in the South of France, and Michel’s great-grandfather’s motto that “a good wine is a wine you want to taste again.”

Designed exclusively for THE PIG Hotels, THE PIG Hut wines feature original front label artwork by artist Will Dozer. Produced from grapes grown in the Pays d’Oc region of France, THE PIG Hut wines come in three distinct styles; a white blend of the two Mediterranean varieties Vermentino & Terret; a complex and elegant red blend of Grenache & Syrah and a fruity Rosé blend also made from Grenache & Syrah.

THE PIG Hut Wines will be available at all our properties from the 1st of June at £22.50 per bottle, £7.50 for a 250ml glass and a 125 ml glass for £3.75. You can also add a bottle to your booking so it will be waiting in your room on arrival!
