Our urban PIGlet, THE PIG-in the wall, might be the littlest of our litter, but that doesn't mean there isn't just as much of it or the surrounding area to explore!

Neatly tucked away within the ancient medieval walls of Southampton, it's the perfect base for immersing yourself in the city's bustling high-streets, colourful nightlife and long and illustrious history!

Explore Southampton

Walk the walls and step into Southampton's history -Follow the signposts along the third longest uninterrupted stretch of medieval defensive walling in Great Britain. With walls and buildings that date from 1180, every step you take feels like a step back in time.
Ocean Village (0.8 miles)

Why not mooch on over to Southampton's Ocean Village, a bustling modern development surrounding a yacht-filled marina on the River Itchen. The perfect sunshine spot for watching the boats go by!
Isle of Wight (18.6 miles)

We’re just a short stroll from the Red Funnel ferry terminal, which runs regular crossings to Cowes, the yachting capital of the world, every day. With plenty of scenic coastal routes for road-tripping, strolling or cycling, you can spend a day on the island and still be home in time for tea!
West Quay Shopping (0.9 miles)

Just a short stroll from here, is the perfect place to spend a day for shopping lovers, full of shops and great for grabbing a bite to eat.
The SeaCity Museum (1.2 miles)

Based very close to us in Southampton, you can discover the historic past with a huge array of artefacts sourced from the city’s maritime, archives, archaeology, and local collections.
Southampton Football Match (1.4 miles)

For a fun day out why not cheer along the Saints for some Premier League action at a Southampton Fc football match at St Marys.
Mayflower Theatre (1.1 miles)

Features touring West End shows and is the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening.

Is the home of independent restaurants and bars and is just a short walk from our house, if you like nothing more than to eat, drink and be merry, then Oxford Street is the perfect location!

Is based locally in Ocean Village serving Italian/Mediterranean dishes with inside and outside dining.
La Regata (0.8 miles)

Is just around the corner, dishing up delicious Spanish Tapas!
Blue Jasmine (0.9 miles)

Is a fine dining restaurant specialising in refined and imaginative Southeast Asian cuisine.
Coriander Lounge (0.5 miles)

Is arguably the best Indian in Southampton and worth a visit!

Manor Farm Country Park (5.3 miles)

For animal lovers, Manor Farm has something for everyone, with plenty of animals to see, historic buildings to explore, play areas for kids and a wildlife garden to wander around.
Marwell Zoo (16.4 miles)

Is a firm favourite for animal lovers, enjoy a day out seeing hippos, giraffes, zebras, flamingos, penguins, meerkats, tigers, lemurs, cheetahs and more!
Paultons Park (11 miles)

Is the great place for a day of fun, it is home to Peppa Pig world and has so many exciting rides and attractions.
Royal Victoria Country Park (4.8 miles)

Is a great place to visit for a fun day out, with large play areas for young ones, a huge park to explore, tour the royal Victoria chapel and ride on the steam and diesel miniature train around the park.
Broadlands Fishing Lake (6.4 miles)

For a more relaxed day Broadlands Fishing Lake is a great way to sit back, enjoy nature and hopefully catch a fish or two!

Southampton Water Activities Centre (1 mile)

Is powered by Active Nation, a national cause-led charity to help the nation be active. There are so many activities to get up to such as powerboating, sailing, windsurfing and paddle boarding.
1st Base Baseball (0.4 miles)

Is the UK’s first baseball entertainment centre and is only right around the corner from us!
Harbour Lights Picture House (0.9 miles)

Is a small cinema and bar that is perfectly located overlooking the harbour in Ocean Village showing independent and blockbuster films.
The Paddle Centre (6.1 miles)

If you fancy some Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP), then take a trip to the Paddle Centre at Swanwick Marina, just a 20 min drive from us. They offers SUP’s, Kayaking, SUP Yoga, and more, along on the Hamble River.
