The home-grown theme continues into the gardens where informal areas have been created where guests can kick back and relax over a glass (or two!) and even savour some al fresco dining courtesy of the wood fired oven in the courtyard.
A gentle stroll down the gravel and brick path will lead to further surprises; our smoke house, kitchen garden, greenhouse, fruit cages, wild flower meadow orchard, chickens and a paddock with our five very active pigs!
Or simply enjoy exploring The New Forest on your doorstep…
The obvious attraction that most of our guests enjoy is the outstanding natural beauty and wildlife. All within a short drive
of the hotel:
There is so much more to see and do near THE PIG that you may have to stay a little while longer - we guarantee you simply won't want to leave!
The gentle art of fly fishing was born on the chalk streams of southern England. With its enviable location in Hampshire's New Forest, THE PIG nestles in the heart of England's premier fly fishing counties between the valleys of the world famous River Test and the River Avon.
